Lindha Narvaez could not have known at age 12, that the gift of a Nikon F2 camera from her father would sharpen her focus on a career-path filled with countless creative and memorable adventures!
As a multi-award-winning executive producer, Lindha is passionate about producing visually compelling and music driven content. An entrepreneur at heart, Lindha founded her own production company, Milktmade, in 2009 with a mission to produce diverse and relevant stories that are not disposable. Her specialties are multi-cam concert films, documentary features, short-form branded content, and commercials.
Lindha’s productions feature the Who’s Who in the music and film industry such as John Mayer (Grammy nominated documentary film, Where the Light Is), Bruce Springsteen (Grammy nominated short film, Devil & Dust), Tony Bennett (Clio Fashion & Beauty Grand Winner – integrated campaign for The Gap), and Ridley Scott (Clio Gold Award Winner – HBO Max On-Air Promo for Raised by Wolves.) Recent projects include the critically acclaimed autobiographic documentary, All I Can Say, about the late Shannon Hoon, lead singer of the band Blind Melon. In addition, she produced a 4-hour livestream to raise money for the Preservation Hall Foundation to support New Orleans musicians financially impacted by the global pandemic that featured such stars as Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, and Amy Schumer.
A proud Latina business owner, Lindha is steadfast in her commitment to encourage and promote the next generation of diverse storytellers so they too can thrive in the entertainment industry. Her company is certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and the Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council. As a member of the Producers Guild of America, she served as a mentor on the 2020 PGA Power of Diversity Master Workshop. In 2022, she served as a Juror for Documentary Films at the prestigious international film festival of the art of cinematography, Camerimage, in Torun, Poland. Lindha served as a Judge for the Storytelling category of the 2023 AICP Post Awards.
Lindha’s parents immigrated from Colombia, South America and settled in the NYC borough of Queens to pursue careers in the fashion industry. Her mother was a master seamstress and her father designed dresses for many high-profile celebrities including Jacqueline Onassis. This upbringing offered Lindha a playground rich in art, culture and color with an intoxicating beat that continues to inspire her today. The instant she graduated High School at 16, she went into freelance photography, working as an assistant where she met famed music photographer and director, Danny Clinch. Several years later, her strong desire to learn more and to be challenged in her career, she grabbed her trusty Nikon, some clothes and hitchhiked to Los Angeles where she reunited with Danny. This alliance would blossom into a highly successful collaboration and partnership.
Lindha has a stellar reputation for her creative approach to projects, treating her team with the utmost respect and care, and for remaining calm in the midst of chaos. So, it is no surprise that her favorite way to relax is to spend time as a “butterfly doula.” This intricate and beautiful process delights her every single time.
